Favorite Send to FastDrawBrad Stevens is earning a tremendous reputation as a great ATO coach. In tonight's game (4/6/17), he ran this SLOB on back-to-back ATOs. It is a simple, but effective, screen the screener action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWay too often, teams have put the ball into a player's hands, and asked him to be a hero. There is no action being run, and the player dribbles into a contested shot. The goal of this is to give coaches some other actions that they can use to generate a quality shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA Chin set that highly useful to teams with very athletic 5's that can handle the ball and beat a man to the basket from the perimeter. This set was used by Troy University in the 2017 NCAA Tournament. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA horns set, providing two ball screens for the point guard. This play was used by Marquette during the first round of the 2017 NCAA Tournament. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawWith 9 seconds left on the shot clock, under 2 minutes to go, Mississippi State ran this set to get their leading scorer, Victoria Vivians, a wide open 3 to put them up 1 over UConn. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWith 4:35 left in the third quarter, UConn ran this action to get their best player, Napheesa Collier, a lob inside off a rip screen. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThe San Antonio Spurs beat the defending NBA Champion, Cleveland Cavaliers, by 29 points. There was a lot working. This set was my favorite, as it has multiple scoring options. The Spurs stack two players weakside, to make it look like Kawhi Leonard (3) will come off of a weakside down screen. Instead, he sets a baseline cross screen, in a great screen-the-screener action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawNorth Carolina uses this BLOB play to get looks at multiple scoring options. They start with a backscreen for a layup and the elevator screen for a shot. If those options aren't available the ball gets reversed and the Tar Heels get into a screen the screener action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHorns Set. Off the corner PNR action the screener receives the back screen moving hard into the ball side post on the opposite side for a quick pass and isolation action as the passer cuts away to the weak side taking away the help on the ball side and possible post double. Favorite Send to FastDrawWest Virginia used this Princeton type action last night against Gonzaga in their Sweet 16 match-up. Carter runs off the FT line screen into a double stagger looking to catch & shoot off the pass from the TOK. If there's no shot, he has the option to throw inside and the 5 man's down screen or exchange with 3 can also lead to a Hi / Lo off the wing pass to the FT Line area. The play closes with a corner ball screen action when the post has no attack option to the basket and the PG makes the read shooting behind the screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGonzaga fought off a furious challenge last night in the Sweet 16 from West Virginia. The Zags had difficult at times getting into their sets due to the relentless ball pressure applied from the Mountaineers. Here is a Post Iso action run from a Box set where they look to free up Karnowski off a simple back screen action in the lane. Gonzaga does a good job moving without the ball and opening up the cutting lanes as evident by the last frame here with the ball in the Post. See More
