Favorite Send to FastDrawCoach calls "GO" Players sprint toward cones Coach calls "LEFT" or "RIGHT" Players break around cones (touch baseline if you don't have or wish to use cones) to that side and outside player is on offense. In this example, coach calls "RIGHT" and 1 is on offense. Move cones to different spots on floor to change angles of attack See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThere isn't anyone better than Gregg Popovich. The Spurs ran this sideline set in the first half Christmas day vs. OKC to get Tim Duncan a clean post entry. The ball screen at the top of the key is more to keep x4 out of the lane than to create action for 1. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawDuring Christmas Day action, the Washington Wizards ran this excellent twist pick & roll action that freed up Wall for an easy mid-range jumper. Having two shooters spaced in each corner opened up the middle alley and allowed Wall & company to run this play very efficiently. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a BLOB set Doc Rivers liked to utilize when the ball was deeper into the corner than normal. Rivers would frequently run this set for shooters such as Ray Allen and Paul Pierce during his time with the Boston Celtics. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawWhen Terry Stotts needs a big 3, he has Lillard Time!!! Damian Lillard sent Tuesday's game vs. OKC to overtime with this SLOB stagger set. It also happens to be the exact same set that won a huge playoff game vs. Houston last spring. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis quick mis-direction action can give you several options for scoring quickly. If you have a good shooting point-guard, the early flare screen will provide him with an opportunity for a quick 3 in the possession. If the defense takes away the early 3-point attempt by your point-guard, the 3 man quickly sets a cross-screen for your 5 man, who should get a post-up opportunity on the block. The play finishes with a down-screen by the 4 man to give the 3 man an opportunity for a 3-point attempt after he cross-screens. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great set to run out of transition or dribble drive. 1 can pass the ball up to the wing or dribble handoff to 2. 4 trails directly in to set an on ball. This is hard to guard for x2 who is managing a dribble handoff, traffic from 1 and x1 and then an on ball screen from 4. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUCONN's Geno Auriemma demonstrated this play this Summer at Coaching U Live in Las Vegas. This is a simple action that you get the floor moving early in the offense and keeping both bigs involved and creating hard to guard situations. As 3 comes off the pick, if X5 engages the ball and helps, a throwback to 5 may lead to a quick feed to 4. However, if 5 quickly shows and starts to get back, that is opportunity for 4 to come out and flare 5...4 has another opportunity to slip after setting the flare. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawGreat pressbreaker to use against a relentless faceguarding press. The key is for the 4 to be able to make good, quick decisions. Touchdown pass over the defense to 2 cutting up the court will be available early. 5 can stay and set an open court screen for 2, but I think it works better to send 5 as soon as action starts. Favorite Send to FastDrawTom Izzo's Spartans ran this play Sunday night in their game vs Oakland. What I love about this plays is that there is a scoring option for all five players within the sequence. Options: 2 is able to curl and get into the lane on the initial catch Hand-off to 1 for a lay-up Catch & shoot for 3 (OR pass to 5 if he slips to the rim and X5 over-helps) Throwback to 4 for a shot Throwback to 4 for a post feed to 5 See More
