About This Play/Drill

Chris Paul has really hurt the San Antonio Spurs in this years playoffs running this PNR Set. Doc Rivers called it "45" from the sideline (hand motion 4-5 blinking) and this set has allowed Chris Paul to attack off the PNR very well. Both bigs start at the elbows, and then flash near half court at the same time setting a ballscreen on each side for Chris Paul to attack off of. They have options where a big turns, but the main reason this set works is due to the fact that San Antonio likes to pressure high. It forces the bigs to make a decision and does not allow a guard to go under the ballscreen.
