About This Play/Drill

A set designed to get a DEEP post catch! Tennessee is the best team in the country at getting deep post position using physical duck ins.

I call this a "False Motion" set because it uses actions to disguise what they want to get to in the end, in this example Coach Rick Barnes uses a baseline runner to get a deep post look.

After 3 screens, in he gets his defender to relax and then ducks in the paint for a catch.
