There are several variations out of this formation but it always starts with a ball reversal, a 1 to 5 chin cut.

In this variation 4 will exchange/downscreen for 3 to come up and receive the pass from 5.

1 will clear out to the weakside corner

5 will hit 3 as he is filling and immediately chase it into a middle ball screen

In this variation as soon as 1 has cleared 5 on the chin cut, 5 will sprint straight into a middle ball screen.

In this variation the wing will reject instead of filling up.

It starts with the reversal and 1-5 chin cut.

4 will hit 5 and go downscreen for 3.

3 reads this and cuts hard back door.

4 will pop right back to the ball for the pass from 5

5 will sprint straight into a middle ball screen.

This is a backdoor counter for the fill man. The same reversal, and 1 to 5 chin cut

4 will hit 5 and set a downscreen for 3

As 3 fills up he is denied so he cuts hard backdoor and gets a wide open lay-up. If 3 isn't open then 5 would go straight into a handoff with 4.
