An action being used a lot by NBA teams was utilized in the NBA Finals by both the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs. Here in this diagram you can see that on the #9 Tony Parker and #21 Tim Duncan pick n' roll #4 Danny Green sprints from the weakside corner underneath the hoop to the strong side of the floor. His man was sinking in to help on the rolling post and lost track of his man.

1 passes the ball ahead to the 2. 3 sprints to the ball side corner. 1 shallow cuts to the wing left by the 3 man.

2 reverses the ball to 5 who swings it to 1. 4 moves to the opposite corner, 3 spaces up the floor.

5 comes to set the empty side ball screen on 1. 1 uses the ball screen. as 1 uses the ball screen 4 sprints back below the hoop to the strong side corner. on 5's roll he looks for the ball, if he doesn't get it he screens or seals for 4.
