Spain ran this SLOB play on their final 2 possessions of the bronze medal game. In both situations they were down 1 and they were able to draw fouls to get them 2 free throws. With 35.3 seconds left Spain used the pop option and got the ball to Pau Gasol (5) where he was fouled in the post. With 9.7 seconds left Sergio Rodriguez (1) was able to turn the corner and get to the basket before drawing a foul.
