Loop cut into Drive/Drift - FastModel Sports

About This Play/Drill

A quick set to get a 3 pt shot for your best shooter in the corner.  2 has to do a good job of making his defender "relax" before he sprints down to the corner.  Likewise, 5 wants his guy to help on the baseline drive so that he doesnt help out on the flare screen.  

  • Basketball Play - Loop cut into Drive/Drift
  • Basketball Play - Loop cut into Drive/Drift
  • Basketball Play - Loop cut into Drive/Drift

  • 1-4 set

    3 loops over the top (Iverson cut)

    2 sets a screen at the top of the key

    5 cuts to opposite block

  • 1 hits 3 off the cut

    4 sprints into a ballscreen

    3 Rejects the Ballscreen to the baseline

    2 starts drifting to the corner and 5 man has to headhunt the screen to get 2 a shot in the corner.

    3 to 2

  • 4 finishes it with a rip screen bringing 1 to the ballside
