About This Play/Drill

Here are several options out of Wisconsin's swing offense. The key to the offense is for the players to not stop moving. As the ball is reversed, Wisconsin can go into several different screening actions and combos. 

  • Basketball Play - Wisconsin - Swing Offense

  • 1 passes to 2 on the wing.

  • 5 sets a back screen for 1.

  • On the opposite side, 4 can set a down screen for 3.

     

    5 passes to 3.

  • As 3 looks left, 1 sets a screen for 2 then cuts off of a down screen from 5.

  • In this option, the ball is passed to the wing and 2 cuts a screen for 3 in the slot.

  • 5 passes back to 1 who dribbles left as 4 sets a flare screen for 2.

  • 1 makes a UCLA cut off of 4 and 3 lifts up the lane line on the weak side.
