About This Play/Drill

Butler is a sentimental favorite come NCAA March Madness since their back-to-back runs under Brad Stevens.

Head Coach Chris Holtmann has done a great job putting his own stamp on the program this year under trying circumstances off the court.  The Bulldogs stuck together and made another strong showing in this years NCAA Tournament.

This is a simple little sprint-to-screen action which makes the defense guard two ball screens in one possession.

    4 sprints-to-screen for 1 who attacks the screen and seeing that the lane is not free, quickly reverses his dribble and passes across to 2 lifting off the wing in space

     

    4 relocates to the opposite block on the sprint-to-screen action

    1 cuts to the weak side corner after his pass as 3 moves up to fill

     

    2 receives a step up screen from 4 and looks to attack the open side off penetration
