About This Play/Drill

Purude Coach Matt Painter does a good job with his offensive sets and here's a play which can be run as part of the Early Offense.

Double Stagger action with an initial down screen action which could yield a quick pull-up in the middle of the lane.

Purdue Transition Double Stagger vs M2M

1 Thompson (#3) comes down and reverses the ball to the trailer 3 Edwards (#12)

5 Hammons (#20) relocates to the opposite block

1 Thompson (#3) sets a down screen for 2 Davis (#35) who curls the screen looking for a quick hit
Purdue Transition Double Stagger vs M2M

5 Hammons (#20) relocates to the ball side block opening up the way for the next action

2 Davis (#35) & 3 Edwards (#12) move to set a double stagger screen for 4 Swanigan (#50) who comes off looking to catch & shoot at the TOK

1 Thompson (#3) also has the option to throw the ball inside to 5 Hammons (#20)
