Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is an outstanding horns set to use after a timeout, to being a quarter or if you are in need of a score! This action uses a "little" on "big" screen which negates the defense from being able to switch. If it does switch, you will have a HUGE advanatage with deep post position. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawChris Holtmann used this set a ton in his first season at Ohio State. He inheirited a lethal mid post scorer in Keita Bates-Diop, and this set really put him in great position to utilize his length and ability to rise over defenders to get his shot off. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a quick hitter for a 3 in transition from Coach Archie Miller. This flare action really forces the defense to communicate quickly, as seen in the video below, the defender runs dircectly into the flare creating a wide open three. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this 1-4 flat set from Coach Archie Miller, they are able to use a simple creative movement to get a deep post catch. The simple pipe cut from 1 is enough to distract 5's defender causing him to get caught playing behind, as seen in the video below. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is great quick hitter used after a timeout by Coach Archie Miller. I like this set because it uses some false motion followed with a screen the screener action that really puts pressure on the defense to communicate. As seen in the video clip below, the defenders do not switch correctly which leads to a wide open three. TIPS: Coaches incorporate false motion combined with STS actions! Give the defense a "dummy" look before entering your STS look. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCoaches - are you in need of a 3 against a zone defense? Add this set to your playbook! Our head coach at New Washington has used this play for 12 years with tremendous success. We primarly use this against 2-3 and 3-2 zones. This action creates a quick overload putting pressure on the defense to cover multiple areas. There is also a slip option if the defense is able to close on the shooter quicky See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA overload action used against a 2-3 or 3-2 zone. TIPS: Have your best shooter be the inside cutter to occupy the attention of the zones wing defender. In the video clip below, we ran this play against a 3-2 zone to begin the quarter. Notice how our 5 seals the bottom of zone creating an open area for 4 to find for an easy layup. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis BLOB has become our go to call against any team that likes to play zone in baseline out of bounds situations. In the video clip below we ran this play against a 2-3 zone, we were down two with 0:05 seconds left and were able to convert a "And 1" on the play to win the game. Although this play only has one scoring option, in the 2017-18 season we scored 12 out of 15 times when running this set! See More
