08/20/2013In 2008, Jay Triano drew this play for a high handoff with Chris Bosh, who would likely pop out and set a ballscreen. Instead, the play worked out so that Bosh's presence with the ball would serve as a decoy for an off-ball player to cut backdoor and receive a pass from the man Bosh pitches the ball to. See More

"Double Fist"
08/16/2013This is a play that Jim Boeheim frequented during the 2013 Final Four. I love this set because of the continuous screening actions after the initial stagger pick & roll. The first two options of the play are for 1 to come off and attack the rim and if he can't throwback to 4 for a catch & shoot. If neither of those options are open 2 comes off the second set of staggers for a multiple of options. 08/15/2013This double stagger into a triple stagger from Florida State's Leonard Hamilton is a great action to get your guards coming off multiple screens. This play also creates a great situation to get 1 into a pick & roll action below the free-throw line. After 1 receives the ball, if they don't have any scoring options spread the floor and have 5 set a quick pick on the ball. See More

After ball is entered to 3, 1 cuts to block and uses 4's down screen to return to original spot. 2 and 3 again swing the wings, with 2 receiving three staggered screens to get open on the right side. Scissors (dribble drive look)
08/08/2013This is a common play in our area of Northwest Ohio that I'm sure is used in college and pro's. This play is great because it is designed to for a high post entry, and a "scissor" cut with 2 guards. You can get good looks for 3's off the scissor cut and double screen. This play also offers a chance to enter to the post player with a double screen and post entry, or the big can fake handoff to both players, and have a high post isolation. See More
