This is a simple and effective zone quick hitter against a 2-3 defense. This play can be used at any time during the game. This simple play does a great job of getting the 2-3 zone out of position for a wide open three or a baseline drive. The 1 passes the ball to 2 and clears out to the weak side corner The 4 comes up and sets a screen on the strong side defender on the ball. The 2 attacks hard off this ball screen and MUST freeze the opposite defender of the 2-3 zone at the top and will kick out to the weak side wing (3). The 3 quickly swings the ball to the corner for a wide open shot or dribble drive into the middle of the defense.
