Favorite Send to FastDrawAnother well designed SLOB from the Hornets. This play is effective because it has many options that the defense has to worry about. By having Jefferson catch the ball outside the three-point line, Batum has plenty of room to take the handoff and go all the way to the rim. By having so much action going on, no defender is just standing around waiting to help – everyone has to worry about their man. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA very well designed late game SLOB play by the Thunder. For coaches looking to run this set, I believe it is important to make sure your best ball-handler/playmaker is coming off the double ballscreen, as this will make the man guarding the second screener to show/hedge out because he has to respect the ball-handler on the drive/shot and this rotation could make him late getting back to his own man. This is also effective if the defense is switching, because now the man coming off the fade screen has a mismatch. The Thunder do a great job here clearing out the side so that if Durant does not have a shot, he has plenty of room to take his man. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a set that UNC ran vs. Syracuse in the 2016 season. By changing sides of the floor with the basketball, as well as overload the opposite side of the zone, the offense is able to get an open shot off a flare screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAt the end of their matchup with Washington, Stanford needed a score and went to this flare set. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawNotre Dame used this play in the Elite 8 game against North Carolina. They run a ball movement action that sends the point guard looping into the lane and out to the right wing to set a flare. Then, both posts guys move out to set a ball screen with the first screener slipping. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawKansas used this zone play to get an open shot in the corner against Villanova. The shot was missed, but the action with the ball screen/flare screen opened up a shot in the corner. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOregon used this play against Oklahoma in the Elite 8 to get an open 3-point shot. The zipper action is used to get the ball in and a shot is created with a flare on the weak side. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOregon ran this play in the first half against Oklahoma. They didn't get a good shot, but had a couple different options to open up Dillon Brooks. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWisconsin used this play against Notre Dame in the Sweet 16. It is an option out of their swing offense with a weak side flare to start the play. Then, a shuffle cut is set and the down screen is slipped for a layup. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawNotre Dame used this play against Wisconsin using a box set into a blocker/mover (wheel) play. Instead of continuing the wheel action, Notre Dame pulls out the bigs to set ball screens. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a set used by Virginia in the win over Iowa State in the sweet 16. It is a counter to the typical Virginia blocker/mover action. See More
