Basketball Play - Dayton Screen the Screener

Dayton Screen the Screener

Justin Scanson 03/19/2015

Dayton vs. Boise State 3/18/15 Shortly after the first media timeout, Dayton ran this screen the screener set vs. Boise State. (14:20 mark of the first half). The play got Darrell Davis a wide open look because he set a great screen for the 4 diving to the block and his defense stayed to help. This set should work with most personnel. See More

Basketball Play - Fred Hoiberg Set Play; 3 Guard Screen the Screener

Fred Hoiberg Set Play; 3 Guard Screen the Screener

Scott Peterman 02/21/2015

Iowa State Head Coach Fred Hoiberg likes to use plays that create multiple scoring options at the rim and from the 3-point range. This 3 Guard Screen the Screener play is exactly what I am talking about. Fred Hoiberg has always stressed proper spacing as a key component for offensive efficiency. Since he took over the reins of the Iowa State program in 2010-2011. ISU's offense have evolved around outstanding shooters who space the floor and make the extra pass to find the open man. Basketball Play - Spurs Screen The Screener

Spurs Screen The Screener

Kevin Bruinsma 07/05/2013

A very simple and common set that the San Antonio Spurs ran and scored effectively in the NBA Finals was their screen the screener action out of Early Offense. Miami began defending it by having their weakside corner defender moving up to the top of the key to be there on the catch, and allowing their defender to chuck the post player coming across the lane longer. The Spurs caught on and skipped it to the weakside corner once for a 3. See More

Basketball Play - Knicks Pin Down Screen the Screener

Knicks Pin Down Screen the Screener

Daniel Murphy 05/13/2013

1st quarter play ran by the Knicks in thier game 5 loss to Boston. Having Felton set a down screen on Melo should prevent a switch. Much of the Celtics defense is geared to stopping Melo, so having Melo facilitate puts even more pressure on Boston's defense. Chandler set a great screen and Felton curled it perfectly for the open jumper. See More
