03/04/2013With this play you have to make sure that you lift your 3 man up towards the top of the key to clear out the paint, and take his defender out of help side position. Your 2 has to really sell that he is setting a pin down for 1 and then dive hard to the basket. Cal's Junior Guard Allen Crabbe has had one heck of a stretch lately of offensive games so Oregon really started denying the ball; or at least making it hard for him to catch. California came out of a timeout last night to take advantage of such over-aggressive defense. This is a great action to run because you occupy all of your help with the stagger opposite. See More
