Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is the last counter in a series that the Dallas Mavericks used against the Miami Heat in their title run in 2011. Rick Carlisle does an excellent job of recognizing the strengths of the players that he has on the floor and taking advantage of those strengths. In this play sequence Jason Kidd is the (1), JET Jason Terry is the (2), Shawn Marion is the (3), Dirk is the (4), and Tyson Chandler is the (5). This set is a great example of getting your best scorers. Dirk (4) and Jason Terry (2) in position to do some damage. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWith this set you need a point guard that can shoot it coming off of a flare screen. Throw the high post entry pass to your best post passer. Make sure your wing on the same side as the flare screen starts to cut to the opposite corner as soon as the high post entry pass is made to allow the side ball screen isolation. This play is from the 2012-2013 Wisconsin Green Bay season. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawTom Izzo's Spartans are known for running some of the best offensive actions in all of basketball. On Thursday night, Michigan State showed why running their offense to perfection! They ran this half-court set after a dead ball. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWhen you have a versatile shooting guard like Markel Brown that can effectively score on the wing and in the paint, forcing an isolated defender to make a choice on how to guard him before he even catches the ball can be a good way to get an easy bucket. Look how Travis Ford got Brown isolated on one side of the floor with this double high screen and roll action and how it gets Brown an open lane to the rim. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThursday night in a heated PAC-12 battle California's Mike Montgomery drew up this quick hitting back door action to attack Oregon's overplaying defense. Cal's Junior Guard Allen Crabbe has had one heck of a stretch lately of offensive games so Oregon really started denying the ball; or at least making it hard for him to catch. California came out of a timeout last night to take advantage of such over-aggressive defense. This is a great action to run because you occupy all of your help with the stagger opposite. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe New Orleans Hornets ran this half-court action last night vs the Cleveland Cavaliers. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawFor this play have your 5 man set the first ball screen on your 1 man. With your 4 man setting the 2nd ball screen for 2, you can choose to have your 4 stretch the floor with a pick and pop action. Make sure your 2 in this situation is your best scorer and can make decisions coming off of a ball screen. This play is from the 2010-2011 Houston Rockets season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawKeep the ball and players moving until the defense breaks down and there is an open shot or driving lane. Cut hard without the ball and maintain good spacing. Keep the ball moving and hit your teammates when they are open. This play is from the 2011-2012 Georgia Southern season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLet the shooter decide whether to attack off the hand off or the re-screen. Read the defender and to get a shot but don’t over force the shot. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke Season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA handoff followed by a ball screen is basically a double ball screen but it helps to get the player the ball even if they are being denied. Come off the ball screen and look to make a play for your yourself or a teammate. On the handoff dribble right at the wings defender and try to screen him as you hand the ball off. Wing needs to take a good angle to come off the handoff and ball screen, look to turn the corner on the ball screen if you can. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCome off pick and roll and attack second cone. Bounce out with dribble and reattack either driving baseline or crossing over to the middle. Do drill to both sides of the court. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawTransition plays can be a great chance for your team to get easy buckets. If you can get your whole team down and into your offense before the defense gets set this provides a great chance to score. Make sure that if there isn’t a good look off of the transition play pull it out and run offense, don’t need to force up a bad shot. Attack off of the ball screen and get into the paint to create for your team. This play is from the 2007-2008 Chicago Bulls season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA good play doesn’t always score right out of the set but because it is run well it puts the defense out of position. This allows the offensive players to drive and kick and find open shooters or open big men. Be aggressive off of the ball screen and make a play for yourself or a teammate. This play is from the 2007-2008 Chicago Bulls season. See More
