Favorite Send to FastDrawA variation of a set Ben Howland has ran forever going back to his FInal Four teams. This play works by having X1 getting backscreened to having to help on a screen for 2. 5 then has to headhunt X2 to get 2 the shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA set that has many scoring options. The first scoring option is 5 in the post off of 4's backscreen. Then you have your 2 man coming off of a flare to an open side. The play finishes with a ballscreen for 1. Depending on the ability of your players the ball screen could be a roll and replace action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAnother action from UWGB out of Horns. This set has multiple ways to score the ball for your wing players reading screens. Plus allows the 3 man to drive off the downscreen with action occupying the defenders. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great action for a quick 3 using a guard on guard ballscreen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA set that has a lot of options to score for the 3. 1st action is the double flare at the elbow. 1 man can slip this screen (guard to guard action) for an easy score. 5 really has to headhunt on this flare. The play can finish many different ways with ballscreen actions. If your 3 can create off a ballscreen then the throwback to 5 and the pass and follow could be really good. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawShooter needs to set his man up and come off of the pin down screen hard. Handoff man needs to find the shooters man and dribble right at him and set a good screen as he hands the ball off. Get a shot for your best player or let them make a play for another teammate off of the handoff. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis half-court set from the NHSBCA Playbook gives your PG an option for a 3, followed by a High-Low action for your post sealing at the front of the rim. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great action to get a Need 3 or quick lay-up sideline out of bounds. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSometimes the best way to get open is to set a good screen. For this basketball play you are going to set your best shooter up like he is going to set a screen and then when his defender gets ready to help on the screen run him off the single on the other side. Mix up the ways that you get your best player touches the basketball, don’t be predictable. Read the defender and to get a shot but don’t over force the shot. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA handoff followed by a ball screen is basically a double ball screen but it helps to get the player the ball even if they are being denied. Come off the ball screen and look to make a play for your yourself or a teammate. On the handoff dribble right at the wings defender and try to screen him as you hand the ball off. Wing needs to take a good angle to come off the handoff and ball screen, look to turn the corner on the ball screen if you can. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWhen you are looking to get your best player a shot and he doesn’t handle the ball that well himself it is important to set multiple screens to help him get open. The double stack screeners need to set a good solid screen and the shooter needs to read if the defender is going to go under or over the screens. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke season. Favorite Send to FastDrawFor a catch and shoot player it is all about catching the ball in enough space to get his shot off. This play is good because it gives the shooter the option to come off the down screen or baseline screen. Giving the shooter options makes it a lot harder on the defender as well. Shooter needs to set his man up and not be predictable on his cut. Don’t let the defender dictate which screen you go off. Big men must head hunt and help the shooter get open by setting a good screen. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOut of the double stack you can run a lot of different plays so it helps to keep the defense honest. It is up to the shooter to determine what side is best for him to come out on for the shot. The shooter can also drive an over close out or shot fake and pull up. Set good screens and read the defense. If the big helps too much on the screen look inside at the post. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke season. See More
