Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a set play out of the 4 corners alignment. I love using 4 corners to organize for the last shot of the quarter or half. This set gives a high low option, and if that's not open the 5 can turn and face to go one-on-one. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at set play out a 1-4 low alignment. Both posts flash to the elbows and the ball is entered there. The strong side wing cuts off the ball and the hand off is faked. After faking the hand off, the post spins in the opposite direction to drive the open side. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at set play to clear out the baseline for a drive. This play is really simple, and only involves two players, so teams with limited personnel could use this play to limit the number of players handling the ball. Reading the wing backdoor on the catch by 4 is an option, although not explored in this clip. This play won't work every time, but when it does it will likely be for a layup. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a series of plays out of the Princeton alignment that start with a stack. These plays work well together, all have minor tweaks to make them different but are simple to execute. Building this series around a dynamic driver is a wise thing to do. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a sideline clear out from a box alignment. The set uses a coordinated movement of bodies to create the space for the PG to attack. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at play design for a point guard to drive the ball to an empty baseline. They can decide to drive as an isolation, or to skip the pass to the back side for a hammer set. Either way, the defense is misdirected with the fake hand off, and stretched side to side with the hammer action. This set is gold. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a clear out for a point guard to drive an empty baseline. This looks like a dribble entry into the euro ball screen. That was always my favorite feature of the euro ball screen offense - rejecting the screen to the empty baseline. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a simple overload set. I don't think there is any other option on this play, just a simple clear out. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a SLOB for an empty side clear out for the point guard. This is so simple. There is not really any advantage through the action other than space, so you need a playmaker that can create 1 on 1. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a empty side clear out for the point guard. This is so simple. If you have a crafy, bully point guard, this is a set option for you. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a empty side clear out for the point guard. To run this at the end of clock a couple times a game is a simple option that will let your PG create with no advantage. You need to develop options off of this concept to use it more often. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a empty side clear out for the point guard. I like this action because it creates movement for the defense before getting to the clear out. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a early offense option out of the horns push gate series. The gate action keeps a lot of defense occupied, and creates space for the point guard clear out.
