"Slingshot" is a ball screen concept to take advantage of switching defenses when a big gets matched up with a guard. After the switch, the ball handler retreats to create space between the defender then attack down hill. If the defender backs up, then the ball handler shoots the ball. In this drill, players will work on spacing off of a drive as well as relocating to space after a drive.
