Favorite Send to FastDrawThis quick-hitting Horns set from the Raptors can get you a screen-and-slip or a high-low look, depending on how the defense plays the screen. Click to view all posts by Tony Miller on the FMS blog! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great set to get a deep paint touch for a 5 - video below! I added the frame with 4 popping to the top of the key here for the potential high-low look. FMS Blog: Maui Invitational - Top 10 Plays See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a quick hitter that Kentucky coach John Calipari often runs out of ATO situations. The Wildcats ran it to open the Champions Classic game vs Duke in the video below. On the FMS Blog: Gap Creating Cuts to Enhance Your Offense See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis horns set was by Iowa State in the 2013 NCAA tournament and is a quick hitter for a 5, using a back screen for a layup. It works on either side of the court. This action creates pick/roll, pick/pop, and drive/kick opportunities. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great set with some very smooth misdirection to shift the defense out of position before the ball screen and reversal, leaving the post defender sealed underneath the rim. On the FMS Blog: NCAA Preseason Top 25 XsOs - Teams 1-5 See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great set that we have seen many NBA teams run, namely the Cleveland Cavaliers utilizing LeBron James as the screner. T he proximity to the rim and the pace with which Kansas runs it makes it even tougher for the defenders to talk their way through defending this action. I love that the Jayhawk bigs casually jog down before popping back up the lane lines quickly to start the defense out of step. On the FMS Blog: NCAA Preseason Top 25 XsOs - Teams 1-5 See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is great action to get a spread ball screen with lots of midline movement, and then also a chance for a deep post up. Kansas opened up its Champions Classic game vs Duke with this set, and runs this with great pace and execution, however it is well defended by the Blue Devils. A key point is the skip pass before the post entry. If the help side defender is tagging on the post, then skip and immediately enter the ball like Kansas does. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great set to get some false action leading into a dribble handoff, giving a guard a double gap to drive. This clip (along with most of the game) shows some fairly sloppy, execution on Kentucky's part but you can see the potential scoring threat this set poses. Favorite Send to FastDrawBeginning from a deep corner SLOB, TCU flows this set nicely into Horns action with multiple options. The Horned Frogs are ranked #20 in the 2018-19 preseason AP poll. On the FMS blog: NCAA Preseason Top 25 XsOs See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGreat set to get a deep post feed by exploiting the 5 mans defender by putting him in ball screen and DHO coverage quickly. More on the FMS blog: NCAA Preseason Top 25 XsOs Click to view all plays by Coach Dave Nedbalek! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great set with several back screens that require great defensive communication and cohesion or one of the lobs, or subsquent ball sreens will be wide open. Not ideal spacing but a unique set that is not cookie cutter defensively by any means. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a really great set especially if you have your best shooter inbounding it. The final ball screen will either force the inbounders man to tag the roller or leave the inbounder wide open for 3 on the shake action.
