Augustana ran this play in the Division II National Championship game against Lincoln Memorial. They run a cutter off of a double screen at the left block and take advantage of their big man, Dan Jansen, holding post position inside as the ball is passed to the wing.
Maryland ran this play in the second half against Kansas. They sort of walk into the action hence the "slow" floppy. Trimble ends up getting the ball off of the staggered screen and is able to drive to the rim and pass off to the post.
This shooting drill replicates wing shooting out of a floppy set. With a coach or passer at the top of the key, players cut hard to the wing as if coming off a down screen to catch and shoot for 3.
The first look typically begins with the 4 and 5 man free-throw line extended and the 2 and 3 under the basket. Each player can then pop out on their respective sides, using the down screens (pin downs) set by the bigs.
