Favorite Send to FastDrawHorns action from Australia at FIBA Asia Cup Women 2017. If 1 isn't open for a shot off of the down-screen from 5, 5 automatically turns and re-screens for 1 for a middle pick-and-roll action. As 5 rolls to the basket, 4 replaces high. 1 has option of passing to 5 rolling or snapback to 4 filling high. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Brooklyn Nets summer league team used this play against the LA Lakers to get a look for 1 cutting to the basket for a layup or 4 popping to the corner for a shot. The shuffle cut from 1 off the screen from 4 forced x4 to help or they would give up a layup. This got 4 open for the shot along the baseline. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawJapan has been running this "Delay" action at FIBA Asia Cup Women 2017. 1 passes to 5 and screens down for 2. 1 fakes the down-screen and slips to the basket. 5 looks to hit 1 for a layup if she is open. If the pass is not available, 1 clears to the opposite side. 5/2 execute a DHO. As 2 receives the handoff from 5, 4 & 3 set a weak-side stagger screen for 1. 1 comes off the stagger screen looking for a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is an excellent sideline out of bounds I've seen coach Sherri Coale run over the years. I've added a few of my own wrinkles to it but its a great play with multiple options. Initial set up is a your best shooter at the FT line and best finishing guard around the slot area. Both post players are positioned on the blocks. 3 player times cut and waits for 5 to flash for basketball similar to the blind pig action in the flex offense. The point guard passes to the post player flashing to the elbow and the post immediately looks to hit the 3 man on a backdoor (vs. aggressive defense). If the backdoor is not available, the point guard receives a dribble handoff (DHO) from the post player. After receiving the DHO, the point guard stretches the play out while the 4 man flashes to the block for a potential post pass. The 5 man will then receive a back screen from the shooter for a potential lob pass. 2 shapes up after backscreen and looks for a shot or immediately looks to dribble over and post the mismatch. If the guard cannot get the ball to the post player due to being fronted, then the weakside big flashes to catch and immediately throw a high-low pass into the post. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a counter out of the Boston Celtics "Swing" series that they've been running at the 2017 NBA Summer League. 3 is overplayed on the wing and denied a pass, so he back-cuts to the basket. 3 sets a cross screen for 4 then immediately receives a down-screen from 5. 3 comes off of the down-screen looking for a pass from 2 for a shot at the top of the key or drive to the basket. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a counter out of the Boston Celtics "Swing" series that they've been running at the 2017 NBA Summer League. Rather than 2 passing to 4 and receiving a back-screen from 5 for a shuffle screen, 2 dribbles at 4 and 4 back-cuts to the basket for a post-up. After 4 receives the ball on the block, 5 sets a back-screen for 2. 2 cuts to the basket looking for a drop pass from 4 for a layup. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawPlay call from Boston Celtics HC Brad Stevens. Designed post-up action to get 2 or 3 a post-up when they have a size advantage against their man. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Boston Celtics ran this play to get a wide open layup to start the second quarter of their summer league game against the Utah Jazz. The dribble handoff and ball reversal set up the Celtics to getting the ball inside to 4. x3 relaxed on the post feed allowing 5 to set a back screen on him and getting 3 open at the basket. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Dallas Mavericks used the SLOB play with the score tied and 6.7 seconds left in the 2017 Orlando NBA Summer League championship game against the Detroit Pistons. The Mavericks only needed a 2 and were looking for an opportunity to attack the basket for a layup, foul, or create an open shot. 1 occupied his defender by staying in the backcourt, creating more space for 4 to attack off the handoff. 4 drove to the basket and created a shot for 5 for the game winning shot. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a disguised entry into 21. Defense is about positioning so getting any defense out of the position they are familar guarding an action out of automatically begins putting them to the test. This is only the entry into the 21 offense. If you have not seen that yet I recommend checking out my diagram of it here I will be uploading a couple wrinkles from this because I think the misdirection to isolatin for the 5 man is reallly stinking good here with everyone perimeter weakside it really gives you some freedowm to exploit here. I will upload a version of how to get any position on your floor seamlessly into the post position for this action as a set but this itself is simply the Flex entry into 21. See More
