This FastDraw Post Up from Matt Monroe at Hoops Roundtable runs the defense through a gauntlet in the high post in an attempt to free up a scorer, then uses timely screens to set up unsuspecting defenders.
Add today's Play of the Day to your FastDraw playbook for your late season run! This play can be used in a special situation when you need a 3, or as a spark during a stretch where your offense needs a lift.
1 will enter to 4 and screen away for 5, who will come to the top of the key and 1 will step out on the wing. 3 will screen for 2, who cuts to ballside corner.
4 will reverse the ball to 1 thru 5. 3 will set a back screen for 4 and 4 will dive to the open post.
The 3 and 5 will set down screens (staggered) for the 2 guard coming up to the top of the key.
1 passes to 4 and down screens for 5
4 passes to 5. 2 down screens for 1. 5 passes to 1
2 back screens for 4. 5 down screens for 2. Screen the screener action.
1 passes to 4 or 2. 5 sets cscreen then rolls to the opposite block and anticipates a ball reversal. If 2 doesn't have a shot, 2 rips it through and looks into 5.

1 looks to feed 5 in the post, sealing defender as deep as possible, or passes to 3.
If 3 catches, 5 ducks into the paint looking for the ball. 3 hits 5 or passes to 2.
2 looks to feed 5 inside or swings it to 4.
4 looks to feed 5 in post or swings back to 2
4 cuts across baseline trying to loosen 5's defender for the post feed from 2.
