In today's "Play of the Day" from the Maryland Women's FastDraw playbook, we take a look at a staple drill for developing post players and teaching both the offensive and defensive mechanics of a ball screen
- Offensive player goes to set an on ball screen
- Defensive player sprints up to a hard show
- The offensive player then rolls to the basket
- The helpside defender needs to be head under the basket, on the roll he then picks up the roller
- Play Live
- Offense has 3 dribbles
Rotations:
-New Player comes in as the defender who shows
-The defender becomes the next offensive player
-The offensive player then becomes weakside defense
