Cal State Northridge Zipper 2 - FastModel Sports

About This Play/Drill

5 and 4 start at the elbows. 4 screens for 2 who makes a zipper cut up the lane line. 1 dribbles to the right wing. Once 2 has cleared, 3 cuts around 5 and 4 from th left elbow to the right corner. If 3 gets the ball without a shot, he looks to drive middle as 2 and 1 relocate for a shot.

  • 1 dribbles to the right wing as 2 makes a zipper cut off of 4.

     

    1 looks to pass to 2 for a shot.

  • If 2 isn't open, 3 loops around a screen from 5 and 4 to cut to the corner.

     

    1 passes to 3 in the corner for a shot.

  • If 3 doesn't have a shot, he looks to penetrate to the basket.

     

    5 steps down to the block and 2 slides to the opposite wing for the pass if needed.
