High Post Entry with Pin Down & Hand Off - FastModel Sports

This play is from the 2010-2011 Houston Rockets season. This play is best for teams with a passing big. This is a play with multiple quick hitting options on both sides of the floor. To execute this play you will have to drill your players on proper cuts and how to read the defense off of screens.

1. 1 dribbles down towards the wing and passes to 4 at the elbow.
2. 1 sets a pin down for 3.
Option 1 - 3 curls the pin down to the basket and 4 passes to 3 for a lay up.
3. 3 cuts off of 1's pin down and receives a hand off from 4.
Option 2 - 3 creates his own shot off of 4's hand off.

1. 2 cuts off of 5's pin down.
Option 3 - 4 passes to 2 for a shot.
2. 2 receives a hand off from 4.
Option 4 - 2 creates his own shot off of the hand off from 4.
