  • Basketball Play - Post Up: Deforest - 2 Guard Offense

  • Frame 1 - 1 passes to 3. 1 cuts toward the block and then out to the corner. 2 v-cuts to the top and recieves a pass back from 3
     

  • Frame 2 - After receiving the pass from the 3, 2 dribbles left. 4 v-cuts to the block and then comes off 5's screen. 2 passes to 4. 4 shoots the three if open. 5 moves down to the block. 3 starts move toward the elbow and 1 moves up to the wing.
     

  • Frame 3 - If there no shot, 4 looks to 5 in the post. 2 cuts through the opposite corner. 4 reverses the ball to 3 who has now come to the top of the circle.
     

  • Frame 4 - 3 then dribbles right and passes to 1. 5 backscreens 3. If open, 1 hits 3 for a lay-up. If 3 is not open, 5 moves to the elbow area.
     

  • Frame 5 - 1 passes to 5 at elbow. 1 then v-cuts to the basket for a backdoor pass. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR 1 TO TAKE TWO HARD STEPS AT 5 AND THEN CUT BACKDOOR. If that is not open, 2 v-cuts to off 5 for a handoff. 4 downscreens for 3. 2 passes to 3 for an open three. 
     
  • Frame 6 -  If 3 has no shot. 2 v-cuts toward the basket and then pops out, this allows 5 to screen 2"s defender. 1 pops out to the wing. 4 goes to the corner. 3 passes to the 2 and shoots a three or uses 5's screen to get to the basket.

     

  • Frame 7 -  If 2 is stopped, he passes out to 1 for a 3 pointer. 2 then heads to the corner and 5 to the middle of the free throw line
     

  • Frame 8 - If 1 has no shot, he dribbles to the top. 2 and 4 come up to the wings. 1 passes to 3.
