Murray State Head Coach Steve Prohm has taken the Racers to a 65-20 record entering his 3rd season at the helm. He is the fastest Coach in Racer history to reach 60 wins.
This set play run in their MVC match-up against Belmont uses good spacing and ends with multiple passing options.
The Racers are an exciting team to watch with Freshman PG Cameron Payne taking over the team. He is an explosive guard and does a good job reading the defense and getting everyone involved in the offense.

1 (Payne - 1) dribbles down the wing and makes the entry pass to 2 (Fields - 23) coming off the middle screen by 4 (Williams - 4)
3 (Moss - 31) moves down to the block setting up the next cut -
3 (Moss - 31) runs the baseline off the block screen set by 5 (Fairell - 2) who turns back to seal his man after screening
2 (Fields - 23) enters the ball to 3 (Moss - 31) on the wing
4 (Williams - 4) moves across to the elbow setting up the next action -
3 (Moss - 31) can pass inside to 5 (Fairell - 2) sealing his man or as he does here, reverses the ball to 2 (Fields - 23)
2 (Fields - 23) passes to 1 (Payne - 1) who receives a ball screen from 4 (Williams - 4)
1 (Payne - 1) looks to attack the open side or can hit 4 (Williams - 4) rolling into the lane - 1 (Payne - 1) dribbles back out as if to re-organize the offense, but then uses his quickness to attack the defender, getting in the lane for a floater
