Tuesday night in their nail biting loss to South Florida, Florida Gulf Coast ran this half-court set for a post hi-low isolation. After spending many years at Kansas under Bill Self, it is no surprise that FGCU coach Joe Dooley frequents hi-low actions.
If 3 can set a solid screen the goal is for 5 to try and catch in the middle of the paint for a quick score. However, if X5 fights over top of the screen of X3 and X5 switch, 5 is to seal his man on the top side for a lob pass over the top for a finish.

1 passes to 5 and cuts to the rim and pops opposite. 5 goes into dribble hand-off with 2.

2 passes to 4 who swings the ball to 1. At the same time 3 backscreens 5 after the dribble hand-off. With the backside cleared, 5 tries to seal his man overtop for a lob.
