About This Play/Drill

This drill comes from George Hardison, Head Coach WBB at UConn Avery Point (NJCAA) which I witnessed at their practice on Feb. 16th, 2016.

NOTE** If you do not have mini-hurdles you can use small cones. Also, depending on how high you want your players to jump you can use varied heights (6"/8"/12").

  • 1 two-foot bounds over the hurdle/cone and rebounds the ball

Once 1 secures the ball, 1 chins the ball, they outlets it to the coach using a front turn on the foot closest to the near sideline/coach
